What was your first movie with Moira ;)

What movie made you like her? I saw 'The Cutting Edge' and really liked Kate Moseley - since that I wanted to watch everything with her and became devoted fan

Actually, I discovered her for the first time on 'One Tree Hill' in the forth season ! I don't know really why (maybe because she has great presence) but I liked her very much ! Then, I bought all dvds of the series (she's not the best in season 4, I prefer her in previous seasons ) and I wanted to know a little bit more about her. I saw 'The Cutting Edge' where she's fabulous ! And like you, I want(ed) to see all her films ! She is a great talented actress ! In all her movies, she is always great ! Always ! It's not the case for everybody... And in various roles !

I really enjoyed Moira in 1st season of 'One Tree Hill' - I think that Karen was the best in first season. Althought I'm really sad - look at that - she was 35 and looked much younger - it was 2003 - while Brendan Fraser - her co-star from 'With honors' kills mummies and romacing with Rachel Weisz, Robert Downey Jr plays Sherlock Holmes, Cuba Godding Jr gets Oscar - she plays mother of teenager in tv series - what happened that she didn't get any major part in this time? I can't understand that ;((((

Yes, she might have a major role on cinema movie for example ! But I think the role of Karen made her become popular, and it allows her to have fans young and less young ! I like her very much as Karen in OTH but I don't know who said that but she is probably the actrice the most understimated ! It's really too bad ! She deserved so better ! She is so talented ! For me, she is the best actrice in the world ! Well, at the same time, she chose her roles without thinking to her pupularity or money ! She chose her films instinctively... So, I think it's great ! And rare !

her choises are always awesome - there're no 2 same roles in her filmography, she was figure skater, catholic dorothy day, single mother, problem child, murderess, hostage, helen keller, and a lawyer - she really is talented, she could be America's sweetheart and I don't understand why she's not ;(

Yeah ! I really appreciate that diversity of roles ! It shows all her talent to play anything ! Me neither, I don't understand why she is so neglected...

I might be terribly wrong about this, but I believe she chose to distance herself from Hollywood, and I think this is why she's not getting a lot of roles. She's just kind of... unknown. Sadly.

And of course, like you, I wish she was getting all the attention she so clearly deserves. I'm sure she could have been a huge moviestar, had she really wanted it.

Yes - you're right - she made her choise - and I respect her even more because of that

I think same ! It's that distance with Hollywood who make her special if we can say that ! She is so talented but she think about her family and her ethics first ! I think it's really honorable ! I apreciate her for that but I can't stop to think it's really too bad to don't see her most often !

My first Moira movie was 'Love,Lies & Murder'.I had bought the video,partly becasue it was cheap,and partly because it was based on a true story - I think I was going through a phase of just watching 'true story movies' ! I didn't know if the movie would be any good or not,but it turned out to be edge of the seat stuff,and Moira's performance was amazing !!

From then on,I collected a few of her video's - but nowadays they're long gone (binned from going mouldy in a cold old house ) but I think 'Love Lies & Murder' would still be the first Moira movie that I'd recommend to anyone.

This is my opinion so feel free to ignore, but one of the reasons (one of the MANY!!!) that I adore her is because she doesn't want to be in the spotlight. She's content doing what she loves and isn't in the business for the money or the fame. It sets her apart from other actresses and I do believe makes her a good role-model.

I think we all share your point of view. She has no ambition to be a huge movie star - but to be an actress. She would be perfect in every role we would think of - but her chioses are always very special - she wants to tell something to audience. It's because of her modesty I like her so much - she don't want to be a star - and that's why she is a very special, little star. sorry for my eng.
